Editing Blog: Decisions, Decisions...

Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my blog. Today we'll be continuing the production of the opening sequence for my short film, The Red Room.

The team decided to edit this film on iMovie. While they ultimately decided on iMovie, they will still occasionally utilize CapCut. The group decided on this choice because we believe it will make the video look more professional. Compared to Cap Cut, using iMovie provides distinct editing features. The primary editor for this project is Nijah Sarduy. We agree that Nijah editing the videos is the best scenario, even though most of the videos are currently on Callie's phone. The group decided this largely due to the fact that she demonstrated her proficiency in our previous assignment. This is also because she isn't as noticeable in the real recordings, so this will let her participate in the group without being on camera or filming. Because of her prior editing skills, Nijah is logically the best fit for this part of the project. The whole group has faith in Nijah's ability to edit. While Nijah is the primary editor, everyone's participation guarantees a consistent editing approach. To make the entire plot flow, the group would like to add in their ideas. Imani and I, the actors, will also contribute to the editing process. Our viewpoints as the actors will hopefully contribute to a synchronized filming and editing process. This is because it will allow us to give Nijah insight into how each scenario should be interpreted and performed. Because they are in the film and need to be perceived in a certain way, their opinions will be valuable. I am very excited for you guys to see the final result.

That'll be all for today's blog, without further ado, please take care of yourself and I look forward to seeing you next time. It's been Adrian, signing off.
