Production Blog: The Rising Action
Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my blog. Today we will be picking up where I left off for in the production process for my Music Video project.
As you may remember last time I was able to make decent headway in my pre-filming process. So far we were able to knock out the preliminaries for this process. First, pre-existing music video's of a similar genre were researched for potential conventions. Second, a loose plan was drafted for potential music video specifics (props, schedule, etc.). Next, a storyboard was drawn up to physically outline the vision for the project. After that, I outlined the potential price of the filming (due to perishable props). And Lastly, presented the plan to my parents to give them a heads-up about the up coming outing.
With little left to do before the filming process was to begin I (naturally) decided to draft a simple plan. First, I had to find out the specific ice cream shop. Second, I needed to figure transportation to the set as I don't yet have my drivers license. Lastly, I wanted to pick out what outfit I would be wearing for the first day of filming.
I'm not entirely sure how I got this far into the process without knowing the specific ice cream shop but I figure that might be an important detail to know before the day of. That being said, I texted my good friend and subordinate Callie Brown to find out the specific ice cream shop in Dania Pointe. Despite her currently getting over a cold, I was pleasantly surprised that she quickly responded, as if she were sitting in wait for my message, informing me that we were meeting at the Häagen-Dazs. For the transportation, I asked her if she would be willing to drive me there with her as she lives 5 minutes away from me. Then I had to ask my parents who surprisingly didn't seem opposed to the idea of me being driven by her. Lastly, I decided on a casual outfit of a white t-shirt, potentially under a button-down, with my cargo shorts and Birkenstocks. Though that is likely subject to change it gives me something to work around and marks the end of today's blog.
Without further ado, please take care of yourself and I look forward to seeing you next time. It's been Adrian, signing off.
