Production Blog: The Exposition

Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my blog. If you've been keeping up with my blogs you may know that I, along with my group, have begun working on a second project, a Music Video.

 So far I have been able to do four key things. Firstly, the music video song has been decided as 2SEATER (by Tyler, the Creator). Secondly, I researched conventions and common characteristics of Tyler, the Creator's (Hip Hop genre's) music videos for potential characteristics to implement. Next, a plan was erected to map out the filming specifics of the video. Finally, a storyboard was drawn up to further expound upon the aforementioned plan. Moving beyond that my groupmates along with myself had a few miscellaneous kinks to iron out. 

Though the places and specifics had been planned it was still necessary to calculate potential expenses, settle upon a time to meet, and for me personally, to run it past my parents for approval. I don't know that the exact ice cream shop has been decided upon, but it will be in Dania Pointe as this serves as a central location for all four members of my group. We also decided on the time for our first filming session as this Saturday. That filming session will be documented and released two blogs after this one. Going back to the setting, I assumed a cost of roughly $10-$15 to comfortably afford an ice cream. To finalize my side of the preparations I let my parents know what would be going on. Presenting it to them I explained why I needed to go, along with where, and with whom. Naturally, as it was a school-related endeavor, they hastily agreed to both the trip and the cost. With that last bit concluded this marked the end of my to-do list. For next time, I hope to clear any other preliminary obstacles in preparation for my first day of actual filming.
