Sorting Out the Photos
Hey guys, welcome or welcome back to my blog. Lately, I've started working on the production of my All About Me commercial. So far I've been able to make a decent dent in my final copy of my plans and formatting for my project. Starting from the beginning I thought it was a good idea to organize my thoughts and line out what I wanted to complete before this blog post. Here's the rundown of my to-do list. Firstly, I wanted to finalize my picture selection. This would allow me to get an idea of the order and formatting that would work for my project. Secondly, I wanted to create captions and/or descriptions for the selection of pictures. This would further simplify the editing process later on down the road. Then finally, I wanted to compile the pictures in one place. This would mean I could start putting together a folder of all the media I'm utilizing for my commercial. For task number one I began reevaluating the photos I selected and the ones that I, at the time, decided didn't make the cut. In doing this I realized that I had a few pictures that did not represent anything worth mentioning as an integral part of me and my past. I ended up still being able to meet my prior criteria of 2 pictures from infancy (ages 0-2), 1 picture from childhood (ages 3-9), 1 picture from tweenhood (ages 10-12), and 1 picture as a teenager (13-17). My first infancy image ended up being a picture of me, at exactly 1 month and 5 days old (36 days), being held by my older sister. This will be captioned something along the lines of "Moved to Houston, Texas: First-time being held by my sister". The second infancy image was a picture of my grandma and I at Chucky Cheese for my second birthday party. It will be captioned saying roughly, "My Second Birthday at Chucky Cheese: The first of a long list of childhood fears". The childhood image was of me after my first-grade award ceremony. It will be captioned, "The year that started a lifetime of striving for academic excellence". The picture I chose in the representation of my tweenhood was an image of my childhood best friend and I, taken on my birthday in the fifth grade. I will caption it, "A lunchtime party for my 11th birthday featuring my first 'best friend': Cecilia". Finally, the picture I chose for my teenage image was a picture of my sister and I dressed for our formal attire night on our 2023 Family Cruise. I will caption this, "The Pinnacle of my 16 years: An enchanting night with my partner in crime". Lastly, I compiled all of the photos temporarily in the photos app on my phone as, "About Me Commercial Media". That's what I've accomplished so far, thanks for tuning in. This is Adrian, signing off.
